Some mornings, I wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Which is funny because I alway sleep on the left and slide out of the covers on the same side of the bed – so I am not sure why some days it is “wrong” but it just is. Today is one of those days.
I tried to shake the feeling by getting back in the bed and snuggling under the covers for an extra five minutes. Unfortunately, that did nothing except take five minutes away from my “getting ready” time in the morning. So what can I do to shake that grumpy feeling? Here’s what I’ve tried so far – hopefully I can find something that works.
1. Treated myself to a fancy espresso-style drink
3. Called my best friend
4. Brain stormmed how I will start to build in little daily luxuries in my life
5. Entered to win a KitchenAid mixer
That’s all I’ve got… and it only 11am! It is going to be a long terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.
