I am celebrating Thanksgiving this year with Matt’s family. This is the first time that I am celebrating Thanksgiving with his family and I am very excited about it. I am part of the “dessert” crew and I have been testing out recipes the past couple of weeks. I am going to be making “crack pie” as recipe from the NYC restaurant Momofuko’s Milk Bar. I hope it goes over as well today as it did in the office!
We are starting the day of with a 5K Turkey Trot and then home to make my pie and watch a little of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. In the afternoon, we are heading over to Matt’s Great Aunt’s house who is hosting Thanksgiving dinner at the age of 92!
Here’s to our first holiday together as husband and wife! I have a lot to be thankful for today, and every day.
